Miyako and Jacob had such a lovely wedding day at the Makana O Kalani Farmstead in Churchville, VA! Their celebration was a fun, eclectic blend of rustic Virginia country charm and authentic Hawaiian wedding traditions, like hula dancing and ti leaf leis. The vibe was so warm and personal, and SO many of the details were DIY contributions by the bride and her family members, including all of the impressive paper flower bouquets and decorations, the bride's wedding gown, much of the food, and even the barn venue itself.
Although Hurricane Florence was bearing down on Virginia that day, threatening heavy rain and flooding, a few modifications to their ceremony plans and a little bit of lucky timing gave us a beautiful celebration and a beautiful collection of photos!
Miyako and Jacob, thank you for sharing your wonderful day with me! Congratulations!! :)
