Playful and Romantic Anniversary Session in Old Town Alexandria

September 27, 2015 • 21 Comments

Stacey and Jeff are dear friends and were some of my very first clients many years ago when they got engaged! It was an honor to hang out with them to capture these beautiful, romantic moments celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary. We met on a gorgeous (and hot!) evening in Old Town Alexandria, VA to get these images. These two are both so beautiful and have such natural chemistry; they made my job a piece of cake. Also, it was just lovely to see how their love is still as joyful and spontaneous as when we took their engagement pictures, but with an even deeper level of connection and companionship. :)

Five years of marriage is definitely worth celebrating, and it was SUCH a privilege to take these shots! Enjoy!

The concepts of 'hot' and 'cold' streaks mystify gamblers. My research uses statistics to separate mathematical reality from emotional superstition.

I am a firm believer in the "hot hand" and momentum-based nature of gambling. My blog investigates patterns, superstitions, and the mysterious concept of luck.

Step into my world, where the roll of the dice and the flip of a card are everything. I seek to demystify the most convoluted casino games for all players.

By training, I am a psychologist, and my primary fascination has long been the psychology of betting. You won't find much here about which hands to play. Instead, we delve into the psychological traps that affect our actions at the casino. We'll discuss financial discipline as a result of impulse management, how to deal with variance and swings, and the value of maintaining a balanced perspective. My aim is to help you become a more resilient and more introspective player. Control your thoughts, and you will control the tables.
