Theresa and Will hosted the most fantastic, downtown wedding this summer in Harrisburg, PA! Full of local Harrisburg spirit, urban details, and historic architecture, it felt fun and fitting that this was my last photo job before moving out of the area - a little celebration of the city I have come to love. And as someone with a background in architecture, it was a special treat to be able to work in so many beautiful buildings, including the 150-year-old Grace Church, which was a spectacular backdrop for Theresa and Will's exchange of vows. The Pennsylvania State Capitol was just down the block from the church and a perfect spot for bridal party portraits! Their intimate reception was at City House Bed & Breakfast, right on Front Street by the Susquehanna River.
Theresa and Will's entire day was characterized by elegantly understated taste and very thoughtfully chosen components that represented their interests and personalities. Theresa's classic lace veil was her grandmother's, and her elegant multi-layered gown with its long train coordinated with it perfectly. Theresa and Will's blue and green color palette fit so well with their open, relaxed vibe. It was so important to these two that they treat their family and friends to a gracious and personal celebration (including some of the most AMAZING catering!), and they opted to keep their portrait sessions short and sweet so as not to miss too much time with their guests. But don't worry; we captured plenty of gorgeous images together, including their romantic sunset portraits along the Susquehanna Riverfront!
Theresa and Will, thank you so much for the honor of capturing your beautiful day! I wish you two a lifetime full of love, friendship, and shared adventures! Cheers!!
