I had such a great time photographing Erin and Hank's lovely wedding in July! They held their ceremony and reception on the gorgeous grounds of Rosemont Manor in Berryville, Virginia. So many of their details were tasteful and understated, which gave the day a relaxed elegance that was perfectly suited to the setting and the couple's personalities. Erin was captivating in her incredible blush lace gown surrounded by her pretty maids in navy, and Hank was having the time of his life with his gang of goofy groomsmen. Together, they were earnest and silly and perfect complements to each other.
I got to know these two while shooting their engagement session earlier in the summer, and their story is too sweet to skip. Erin and Hank met when they were paired together as bridesmaid and groomsman at a wedding for mutual friends. They spent so much time getting to know each other over drinks and cookies during that wedding's reception that they decided to take a leap of faith and begin their long-distance relationship, and the rest is history! The cookie table at their reception was a sweet reminder of how their relationship started.
Hank and Erin, thank you for the privilege of witnessing your first day of marriage! I wish you a lifetime filled with all the tenderness, zeal, friendship, humor, and devotion that I saw on that happy day. Cheers!
